Anniversary Promotions
Each year, the Alumni Association of the College of Europe organises the “Anniversary promotions dinner”. All alumni and partners celebrating their 10th, 20th, 30th, 40th and 50th anniversary of graduating from the College are invited to this event. The reception and dinner on Saturday night, which is hosted by the Rector and the President of the Alumni Association, are followed by a dance party. Participants always enjoy seeing and spending time with their fellow alumni!
In 2010, the Anniversary promotions are: von Humboldt (1999/2000), Denis de Rougemont (1989/1990), Salvador de Madariaga (1979/1980), William II of Orange (1969/1970), Sully (1959/1960), Alcide de Gaspery (1954/1955) and the Preparatory promotion of 1949. The Anniversary dinner will take place on Saturday, 19th June in Bruges.

There are many other activities which were a great success in the past that can be organised by an “Anniversary Co-ordinator”, such as:
- Dinner meetings in Brussels / Bruges on the Friday before the dinner in Bruges
- Tour of Bruges, the College and the residences on Saturday afternoon,
- Walk on the beach on Sunday
What is the role of an Anniversary Co-ordinator?
- spread the information on the anniversary events in your promotion,
- put people into contact in order to find accommodation, etc.,
- arrange for meeting points / activities on the anniversary weekend,
- be a contact point for questions from your promotion.
How does the Alumni Association help?
We supply you with the necessary listings of names of your promotion, practical information on accommodation, transport, handle the mailing of letters, invitations and together with the College the confirmation lists for the dinner and party.
