Dîner Promotions anniversaire 2010!

This year's edition of the traditional promotions anniversary dinner will take place in Bruges, on 19 June.

Les promotions von Humboldt, Denis de Rougemont, Salvador de Madariaga, William II of Orange, Sully, Alcide de Gaspery et la préparatoire de 1949 sont invités à répondre "Présents!".

Latest info:

- the College visit will start at 4pm. Meeting point: Verversdijk, in front of the College building (5m walk from the Markt);

- the dinner is starting at 7.15p.m. at the Santa Fé restaurant, located at the Central Train Station in Bruges.

Assemblée générale - 25 mai 2010 - 18h30

La prochaine Assemblée générale de l'Association des Anciens aura lieu le mardi, 25 mai, à 18h30, dans les locaux de l'Association à Bruxelles (av. de la Joyeuse Entrée, 14, à 5m du rond-point Schuman).

The General Assembly Meeting is open to all Alumni of the College of Europe. Only paid-up members are however entitled to vote.

Training session for EU concours

The Alumni Association is organising a training session in view of the on-going EU "concours", in cooperation with CALIPA Coaching, a consultancy company. It will take place in Brussels, on Saturday, 17 April 2010 at 2.30 p.m.

This training session will deal with numerical and abstract reasoning tests, as well as with verbal and situational judgement tests.

EPSO Information Session

NEW DATE! The Alumni Association will hold an EPSO Information Session on Tuesday, 13th April in Brussels - unfortunately due to sickness of the speaker, the session foreseen on 8th April had to be postponed. EPSO fera alors une présentation sur les nouvelles procédures de recrutement des institutions européennes. This is an exclusive event for paid-up members only! More info here.

Natolin Drink - Bruxelles 2010

On Monday 8 March, the Alumni Association organised a networking drink for Natolin students of the current Darwin Promotion, in the framework of their study visit to Belgium.

The students and more than 50 Anciens shared a drink at Le Cercle des Voyageurs in central Brussels. The atmosphere was relaxed and many participants took the opportunity to talk to Xavier Estève, responsible for relations with the Alumni Association at the College of Europe, who attended the evening. Kerstin Hötzel, member of the Alumni Association Board, said a few words of welcome and explained that the Association aims at representing both campuses on an equal footing.

The Alumni Association will organise similar drinks in Brussels on a yearly basis, in addition to being present at key events on the Natolin campus. Plus ici.

Nouveau système de cotisation / New membership fee system!!!
L'Association adopte un nouveau système de cotisation, plus souple et plus pratique! Au lieu de couvrir une année civile, de janvier à décembre, la cotisation portera sur désormais sur les douze mois qui suivent le mois au cours duquel vous avez payé. En savoir plus ici.

The Alumni Association introduces a new fee system, easy and more flexible! Instead of covering a calendar year from January to December, your fee will now cover the twelve months following the month in which you have paid. For more information, please click here.

235 Anciens réunis pour souffler une bougie de plus !!!

Le dîner traditionnellement organisé par l’Association des Anciens pour fêter les promotions-anniversaire a eu lieu le 20 juin 2009 à Bruges. Environ 235 Anciens y ont participé, soit un nombre bien plus élevé que lors des éditions précédentes.

Venus des quatre coins du Monde et d’aussi loin que San Francisco, les Anciens des promotions Leonardo Da Vinci (1998/1999) (105 en tout), Christopher Dawson (1988/1989) (94 participants), Paul-H. Spaak (1978/1979) (14 Anciens présents), Konrad Adenauer (1968/1969) (21 participants) et Fridtjof Nansen (1958/1959) ont fêtés leurs 10ème, 20ème, 30ème, 40ème ou même 50ème anniversaire de promotion.
